We have initiated an application with the IRS for our non-profit status as a church, since we indeed have held worship here every Sunday for over two years now. At that point, we will be able to offer proof for tax exemption for those who desire it. Until then, we have fallen under the guidance of the COSAC Foundation of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This organization and it’s founder, Sean Cononie have a ministry caring for the homeless. Check out his website at: http://www.homelessvoice.org/ and you will see the result of boundless energy. This organization is involved in HIV and de-worming programs in Haiti, anti-drug publicity, meningitis awareness, homeless hate crime activist and has welcomed us under his umbrella to which Trisha and I are so very grateful. There is no mail service in Haiti. We have changed to a new mail service, as the old one went to $4.50/lb to receive packages. The new one is only $1.75/lb. If you would like to send us a package, please include a check by applying an envelope addressed to Lynx Air on the package to cover this amount at : (if we pay for it here, it costs $2.75 a lb.)
